Der Einsatz von Wasserstoffperoxid zur Bio-Dekontamination ist weit verbreitet und eröffnet aufgrund der Anwenderfreundlichkeit, vor allem aber aufgrund der schnellen zuverlässigen Abtötung von Mikroorganismen unzählige Möglichkeiten für die Anwendung in ganz verschiedenen Bereichen. Da sowohl Wirkungsweise von H2O2 als auch Einflussfaktoren auf die Abtötung von Mikroorganismen bei der Bio-Dekontamination gut erforscht und verstanden werden, ergeben sich immer wieder technisch ausgefeilte Möglichkeiten zur Optimierung des Dekontaminationsverfahrens, u.a. im Hinblick auf noch kürzere Prozesszeiten. Der Vortrag spannt den Bogen von den Grundlagen der H2O2-Dekontamination über aktuelle Anwendungsbeispiele in der Praxis bis hin zum Ausblick auf zukünftige Herausforderungen und Möglichkeiten.
The use of hydrogen peroxide for bio-decontamination is widespread and opens up countless possibilities for application in a wide variety of areas due to its ease of use, but above all due to the fast, reliable killing of microorganisms. Since both the mode of action of H2O2 and factors influencing the killing of microorganisms during bio-decontamination are well researched and understood, technically sophisticated possibilities arise again and again for optimizing the decontamination process, among other things with regard to even shorter process times. The lecture spans the arc from the basics of H2O2 decontamination to current application examples in practice and an outlook on future challenges and opportunities.
