Enhance first-time-right aseptic process design with VR

For decades, aseptic process designs for isolators have relied on a mix of 3D CAD tools and physical mock-ups using materials like wood, cardboard, and actual components to create realistic models. However, advancements in digital technologies such as virtual reality (VR), software modeling, spatial recognition tools, and 3D printing have brought a new era of precision and flexibility. XR (Extended Reality) solutions are now setting a new standard in aseptic process equipment engineering.

Our presentation will highlight the workflow and digital tools utilized in the XR mock-up of an aseptic filling isolator system, showcasing how VR technologies ensure better compliance with the latest GMP and Annex 1 requirements. Attendees will gain insights into the advanced digital technologies integrated into the process, as well as the resulting design improvements, process efficiencies, and operational benefits. Additionally, VR tools offer enhanced opportunities for operator training and the development of streamlined processes and procedures, ultimately driving greater efficiency and productivity
