Die Isolatortechnik galt zunächst vor allem dem Schutz des Menschen vor gefährlichen Produkten, wurde aber im Laufe der Zeit ausgeweitet und immer weiter optimiert um Produkt- und Personenschutz z.B. bei der Abfüllung für sterile Produkte zu gewährleisten.
Der Vortrag betrachtet neben den gebräuchlichsten Modellen insbesondere auch neue ökonomische Lösungen.
