Ozone decontamination
Ortner Reinraumtechnik GmbH

Ozone is a natural gaseous molecule that consists of three oxygen atoms and decays to dimeric oxygen within a very short time.
oxygen within a very short time. At normal air pressure and room temperature, ozone is gaseous and transparent to slightly bluish.

Because of its high oxidation potential, it is an ideal disinfectant, as even shorter contact times and a lower concentration than, for instance, with
concentration than, for example, with other decontamination methods.

Decontamination with ozone is used in water purification and wastewater disposal, as well as in medicine, for example in
dentistry, for wound healing or for ozone therapies.

Advantages of ozone

  • ecological: no chemical residues in the air or on surfaces
  • effective: penetrates deep into the tissue and reaches even the most difficult points where germs and bacteria can lurk
  • eliminates odors: penetrates deep into the tissues where germs and bacteria can lurk
  • eliminates viruses, bacteria and spores: iocidal action eliminates 99.98% of bacteria, viruses, molds, spores and yeasts
