PFLITSCH takes third place in the finals for the renowned purity technology prize of the Fraunhofer Institute.
PFLITSCH, the internationally recognized expert for cable management, has made it into the final round of the "REINER! 2021" and has been awarded third place. The placement was announced yesterday during the grand opening of the"Digital 365 Cleanroom Processes", the important industry event for cleanroom technology.
The application was for the PFLITSCH blueglobe CLEAN Plus cable gland made of polyamide. This innovative development is the first hygienic design cable gland made entirely of plastic that has been successfully certified according to EHEDG. It meets the strict requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industries for hygienic suitability and cleaning. This makes it a central component for the realization of safe and reproducible production processes.
In addition to the award of the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes 2020" for overall entrepreneurial performance, PFLITSCH has now achieved another coup with the "REINER! 2021", which in particular underlines the company's role as an innovation leader in the field of hygienic design. This high standard is met with a well thought-out range of precisely coordinated hygienic solutions for cable feed-through, cable routing and cable protection. Carsten Wohlrath, Sales Manager at PFLITSCH, says: "The REINER! award is great recognition from the market and encourages us in our work as well as in the development of new solutions for this industry."
The "REINER!" is awarded regularly as an honorary prize by the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation to honor pioneering developments in purity technology. Purity technology is considered a key technology that is indispensable for the production of microchips, flat screens, implants, pharmaceutical, food and nano products. This year, in addition to PFLITSCH, igus GmbH (2nd place) and Carl Zeiss IQS Deutschland GmbH (1st place) were also nominated.
