Not just clean, but CLEANER!
PFLITSCH GmbH & Co. KG

PFLITSCH takes third place in the final for the renowned Fraunhofer Institute Purity Technology Prize.

PFLITSCH, the internationally recognized expert in cable management, has made it to the final round of "REINER! 2021" and has taken third place. The ranking was announced yesterday at the opening ceremony of "Digital 365 Cleanroom Processes", the key industry event for cleanroom technology.

The PFLITSCH blueglobe CLEAN Plus cable gland made of polyamide was entered into the competition. This innovative development is the first hygienic design cable gland made entirely of plastic to be successfully certified in accordance with EHEDG. It meets the strict hygiene and cleaning requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industries. This makes it a central component for the realization of safe and reproducible production processes.

In addition to being awarded the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes 2020" for its overall entrepreneurial performance, PFLITSCH has now achieved another coup with the "REINER! 2021", which in particular underlines the company's role as an innovation leader in the field of hygienic design. This high standard is met with a sophisticated range of precisely coordinated hygienic solutions for cable entry, cable routing and cable protection. Carsten Wohlrath, Sales Manager at PFLITSCH, comments: "The REINER! award is great praise from the market and encourages us in our work and in the development of new solutions for this industry."

The "REINER!" is regularly awarded as an honorary prize by the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation in recognition of pioneering developments in purity technology. This field is regarded as a key technology that is indispensable for the manufacture of microchips, flat screens, implants, pharmaceutical, food and nano products. This year, in addition to PFLITSCH, igus GmbH (2nd place) and Carl Zeiss IQS Deutschland GmbH (1st place) were also nominated.
