New inner racks for DPTE® Beta containers made of stainless steel
Getinge Germany GmbH

Getinge is now introducing a new range of racks that fit into the stainless steel DPTE® Beta containers and are designed for efficient loading and unloading in a sterile zone. The racks stabilize the goods inside the containers while they are transported and sterilized.

"The new rack range improves our flexibility and meets various customer requirements," says Anis Kara, Product Line Manager. "All rack options allow users to safely fill, sterilize and unload devices and components. Items are held securely in the container, allowing full steam access with no hidden areas during autoclaving."

The reusable stainless steel DPTE® Beta containers were developed for steam sterilization processes. The rigid mechanical design enables the safe transfer of heavy and complex parts.

The Beta containers are available in four versions - standard, semi-standard, configurable and customized - and are complemented by the new range of stainless steel racks, which offer a variety of solutions.

In addition to racks with sliding, telescopic and roller systems, the racks can also be completely customized and configured.

"The configurable rack is an extremely flexible solution. By using adjustable spacers and pins, components with different shapes and dimensions can be accommodated. This makes it adaptable to an almost infinite variety of equipment," explains Anis.

Getinge's DPTE® Beta containers are also available in a reusable PE (polyethylene) version that can be gamma-sterilized.

When it comes to disposable products, the DPTE-BetaBag® is one of Getinge's bestsellers in the life science sector. The flexible bags are increasingly used in the pharmaceutical industry to transport items into or out of an aseptic area, such as a sterility test isolator or an isolated filling line. They are available in various materials and sizes.

"The choice between a flexible pouch or a rigid container depends on a number of factors, such as which goods are being transferred, the preferred sterilization method prior to transfer, production rates, volumes, transfer frequency and process requirements. Our aim is to provide a safe solution for every customer," concludes Anis Kara.
