The 2020 GEFMA sponsorship award for project work was presented on January 13. Two Piepenbrock employees were among the winners: Nadja Raabe and Alexa Pfingst secured first and second place in the competition organized by the German Facility Management Association (GEFMA). For the two of them, this was a more than successful completion of their Facility Management specialist course.

Raabe and Pfingst had already successfully completed the Facility Management specialist course between March 2019 and May 2020 together with other colleagues from all over Germany. The training provider was BAUAKADEMIE Beratung, Bildung und Entwicklung GmbH. Part of the examination involves a project-related final project - particularly successful projects are recognized annually by the GEFMA. The jury is made up of experts from the association, industry and academia. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the awards ceremony was held with a time delay and via video conference. Nevertheless, the prizewinners were delighted: "A lot of work goes into the training and especially the project work. The sponsorship award is also a great way of showing appreciation," says Nadja Raabe, Assistant to the Cleanroom Branch Manager.

Division Manager Alexa Pfingst adds: "We are delighted to receive this award and are grateful that Piepenbrock offers such high-quality training courses." In her project work, Raabe focused on optimizing the quality assurance process for cleanroom cleaning in the pharmaceutical environment. The aim was to ensure that both customer requirements and legal standards were met. Alexa Pfingst also chose a practical topic with a view to customer benefits: she analyzed the need to implement complex services and drew up a process description for the implementation process.
