The DMSU22SA has been specifi cally designed for the requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industries. The innovative and robust in-line design of the new pressure transmitter ensures high durability, and due to the continuous sensor monitoring, direct feedback is sent to the control centre in the event of material damage.

Further aspects are the ease of cleaning and the avoidance of dead space through optimal hygienic design, and also an additional boost in safety for the process, since due to the use of a dry sensor the risk of contamination through transmission fluid is eliminated.

Highlights

  • Design:
Robust inline design increases durability compared to conventional instruments
  • Sensor:
Using dry sensors eliminates the danger emanating from transmission fluids
Measurement and transmission intervals that are dependent on the measured value
  • Monitoring:
Integrated monitoring provides direct feedback in the event of a sensor failure
  • CIP and SIP-capable process connections:
All common process connections for food and beverage applications as well as for pharmaceutical plants can be realised.
Ideal in small pipelines with DN < 1" or DN < 25
  • Applications:
Hygienic pressure measurement for the pharmaceutical industry and for aseptic food processing
    Pressure/vacuum measurement on pipelines
Suitable for highly viscous media, pastes and media containing particles, solids or fibres
For the monitoring of processes with sterile steam
