Nowadays, effective and fast decontamination of surfaces is more important than ever before. The use of H2O2 decontamination is not only important for the cleanroom industry. Especially in difficult situation such as this, where we are all confronted with COVID-19, the topic of an effective and fast decontamination of surfaces becomes even more important than ever before. Wherever safe and efficient room decontamination of surfaces is required, the hydrogen peroxide process is a suitable solution.
H2O2-based room decontamination is considered by experts to be the cleanest solution: LOG6 decontamination result is achieved at room temperature, is effective against viruses, bacteria, fungi and mold (including HIV, influenza, hepatitis, COV) and can be used for almost any type and size of room. Hydrogen peroxide decomposes after the decontamination process without leaving any harmful residues.
In order to meet the most diverse needs, Ortner provides a wide range of H2O2 application techniques. The most important advantages apply to all application-specific systems:
H2O2 gas generator "ISU" mobile
The ISU (Interactive Superinduce Unit) from Ortner represents one of the most advanced H₂O₂ generators on the market. It can network or combine different infrastructure systems, plants or devices and communicates interactively (also with external systems).
Due to the variably adjustable volume flows of up to 350 m³/h and the variety of processes, decontamination can be realized via nozzle and ventilation systems and over long distances.
The generated gas flow can be introduced into the room either "intensively highly concentrated" or " gradually continuous" (= superinduce effect). This system is suitable for effective decontamination processes and for room volumes of up to 500m³ (ISU 2.0).

Time savings due to modular room decontamination
Ortner developed a new concept of flexible H2O2 room decontamination for the simultaneous decontamination of rooms, e.g. an entire floor. The modular operation makes it possible to decontaminate several rooms containing diffe-rent equipment in different sizes in a reasonable time.
Large system for complex decontamination processes
Ortner has developed a new solution for powerful and complex decontamination processes that need to be controlled centrally: A permanently installed system that is positioned outside the cleanrooms and performs the fully automatic decontamination of room groups of an entire building. As a basis for this serve validat-able decontamination cycles. Decontamination cycles that have been developed and can be validated serve as a basis for this. The system is ideal for complex, frequently required H2O2 decontamination processes, as well as highly automated applications.
