The Spirax Sarco BT6-B sanitary balanced pressure thermostatic steam trap is designed to remove condensate from clean (Chemical-Free) and pure steam applications with minimal condensate retention. Applications include sterile steam barriers, block and bleed installations, mains drainage and CIP/SIP of vessels and reactors and process lines. 

Manufactured in 316L, the crevice free body design of the BT6-B incorporates a 15° angled seat to ensure full drainability. The self-centring ball valve ensures a tight seal. The Tri-Clamp connections prevent unintentional opening of the fitting and therefore ensure increased work safety.

The steam trap adapts immediately to changing operating conditions and discharges condensate almost instantaneously throughout the entire operating range. Condensate subcooling is less than 2 K for typical sterile applications below 2.5 bar. 

The BT6-B is manufactured entirely in a clean room and delivered in airtight plastic packaging for protection.
