APSH-SILICONSCHLAUCH
Description
The APSH silicone hose from AdvantaPure is a particularly high-quality, platinum-cured 70 Shore silicone hose (quality NI 202) with a polyester fabric liner and a transparent silicone cover. The silicone liner is manufactured in a certified ISO class 7 (C) clean room. The embedded polyester fabric insert ensures high pressure resistance and flexibility. The hose complies with DIN EN 16821:2017-10.
Chemical resistance
Platinum-cured silicone hoses are generally characterised by high chemical resistance, including resistance to UV radiation and ozone. A detailed chemical resistance list can be found at www.tecnoplast.de.
The APSH silicone tubing is suitable for autoclaving, gamma radiation sterilisation and CIP cleaning. However, continuous steam sterilisation accelerates the natural ageing process of the silicone material. Further technical information on this subject can also be found on our homepage.
The APSH tubing was autoclaved 200 times at 260 F (126.7 °C) at 25 PSI (1.72 bar) for a cycle of 30 minutes each. No discolouration of the tubing, no detachment from the tubing and no signs of wear were detected during the subsequent tests.
Technical data
These comply with DIN EN 16821:2017-10 and the technical data can be found on the reverse. The APSH silicone hoses can be used in a temperature range from -70 °C to +200 °C and are conditionally vacuum-resistant. The temperature depends on the operating pressure.
Hose assembly
All sizes of APSH silicone hose are available in lengths up to a maximum of 15.24 m and can be customised with special stainless steel compression fittings on request.
Molded Tri-Clamps
With the APSH silicone hose, there is another variant in addition to the integration with pressed fittings - the modelling of a tri-clamp made of silicone with the core hose (injection moulding). Available in the sizes OD 25.0 mm and OD 50.5 mm. The Tri-Clamps are reinforced by support caps made of stainless steel (AISI 304) or polysulfone.
The major advantage of this connection technology is the guaranteed absence of dead space.
The silicone heads are made from liquid silicone (NI 206), for which a comprehensive validation programme can also be requested via www.tecnoplast.de.
Attention: The APSH product range is not suitable for use as implant material.

Special feature
A coloured identification thread can be woven into the polyester fabric of the APSH silicone hose. Please contact us if required (note: different minimum order quantities per dimension).
Label
For the APSH silicone hose line, there is the option of additional labelling on the hose. For example, a combination of two coloured banderoles and a label with a maximum of 5 lines of text. This is protected by a transparent silicone coating that is vulcanised directly onto the silicone cover.
Colour banderoles are available in: Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, black, grey and white.
