Information on accreditation

Press accreditation can be obtained from:

1. Holders of a valid press card from a domestic or foreign journalists' association with no industry reference.

2. Holders of a valid press card from a domestic or foreign trade journalists' association with a thematic reference to the trade fair.

3. Persons from Germany or abroad who can prove their journalistic (including photojournalistic) activities as follows:
a) by submitting original named articles that are not older than six months at the time of the event,
b) by submitting an original imprint in which they are named as editors, permanent editorial staff or authors, and which is not older than six months at the time of the event,
c) by submitting an original written assignment from an editorial office with reference to the current trade fair,
d) by means of a web link to an online publication that they have created themselves and that is established in the respective trade fair community. In these cases, prior accreditation is required due to the increased verification effort.
e) by presenting proof that they work for school newspapers that is no more than six months old or by presenting a valid ID card from youth press organizations

Otherwise, the trade fair organizer reserves the right to further verify proof of journalistic activity, even if a press card is presented. The credentials should be presented in German or English. In individual cases, the trade fair organizer reserves the right to additionally request the presentation of a valid identity document with a photograph. There is no right to accreditation. If necessary, the trade fair organizer will make use of its domiciliary rights.
