"A walk through the cleanroom process landscape"

This was the motto of our activity area at LOUNGES 2020. In the area next to our stand, we addressed the topic of "Disposable? Reusable? Solution!" in a playful way that was as easy to understand as possible. Our aim was to create a decision-making aid for cleanroom operators that shows the advantages and disadvantages of a single-use and a reusable concept in a value-free way. All factors to be evaluated in the context of cleanroom cleaning were visualized in the form of signposts in our hiking map.
Our large PPS mountain landscape impressively illustrated the resource ratio between disposable and reusable covers. While only 1 reusable mop is used to clean a 100 m² cleanroom, 100 mop covers are required for the disposable area. The resource ratio between reusable and disposable can always be shown as 1:100.
We believe that each cleanroom with its specific characteristics and requirements must be considered in detail using the signposts. This can lead both to the mop hill (multi-use concept) and to the resource peak (single-use concept).
