Vaisala expands Indigo product family with mobile measurements

The Indigo80 portable indicator extends the measurement capabilities of the Vaisala Indigo product family to mobile use. Together with the Indigo80, Vaisala launches two Indigo compatible probes. The HMP80 and DMP80 complement the robust Indigo measurement ecosystem for industrial applications.

Vaisala is a global leader in weather, environmental and industrial measurements. Launched today, the Vaisala Indigo80 portable indicator is designed for industrial sampling, short-term data logging, field sampling, data analysis and diagnostics.

In conjunction with the Indigo80, the company announces the Vaisala HMP80 Series HUMICAP Humidity and Temperature Probe and the Vaisala DMP80 Series DRYCAP Dew Point and Temperature Probe. Both are designed for mobile use and work seamlessly with the Indigo80 portable indicator.

More than meets the eye

The Indigo80 portable display combines cutting-edge technology and ultra-modern industrial design. Special attention was paid to the appearance, customer experience and ease of use. It must be easy to take with you, work reliably in different measurement environments and be as durable as stationary devices. The design features of the Vaisala Indigo80 received an honorary award last year at one of Finland's most prestigious design competitions, the Fennia Prize.

Ensuring additional process efficiency for intelligent production

In addition to the two newly introduced probes, the Indigo80 works with Vaisala's other Indigo compatible probes and other selected Vaisala measurement instruments. Together with the selected probes, the Indigo80 creates added value. The Indigo product family is complemented by a mobile measurement option for several parameters, including humidity, temperature, dew point, carbon dioxide, hydrogen peroxide vapor and moisture in oil. This provides industrial customers with greater ease of use and improved process efficiency.

The Indigo80 indicator's data logging capabilities allow you to increase industrial process efficiency by monitoring process conditions for the required period of time. Spot measurements help to ensure that process conditions are kept within the required range to produce consistent and high quality products.

The Indigo80 can also be used for reference verification of stationary Vaisala measurement instruments and for on-site calibration of existing, permanently mounted Vaisala measurement instruments to maximize optimal process conditions.
