PUPSIT (Pre-Use Post Sterilization Integrity Test) has been getting more attention since the GMP guideline “Annex 1” came into effect. It says that a filter
element needs to be tested for integrity after it's been installed and
sterilized, but before it's used. GEMÜ is also positioning itself in this area
as an international valve specialist offering sophisticated and customized
valve solutions.  

For customer-specific multi-port valve blocks, the filter base, filter cover,
valves, fittings, and connections are manufactured from a solid stainless steel
block. Compared to conventional solutions, installation space is minimized,
complex welding work is eliminated, and dead space is reduced. The specially
configured filter unit allows PUPSIT filter tests to be carried out easily. 

Single-Use systems and solutions also enable filter integrity tests to be carried out reliably, user-friendly and in compliance with GMP.
