Offer for Professionals in Aseptic Areas
Starting in November 2024, the Piepenbrock Group will train professionals using a Virtual Reality (VR) cleanroom simulator from Innerspace GmbH at its in-house Cleanroom Training Center in Osnabrück. This two-day hybrid program combines theoretical knowledge and practical exercises.
As the first training provider in Germany, Piepenbrock is using Innerspace's VR simulator, which simulates cleanroom conditions and visualizes what is invisible to the naked eye. "In sensitive aseptic work environments, employee training plays a crucial role. With Innerspace, we've found a provider whose training package guarantees effective training that closely mirrors the participants' real work environments," says Norbert Gürke, Head of Technical Management for Cleanroom Cleaning at Piepenbrock.
Participants wear a VR headset and immerse themselves in a three-dimensional, realistic work environment. The theoretical knowledge gained in the training is reinforced in the Innerspace simulator with precise instructions, specific tasks, and comprehensive error analysis with immediate feedback, and is then applied practically in the Piepenbrock Cleanroom Training Center.

Well-Trained for Work in Aseptic Areas
The two-day hybrid training course is aimed at professionals who regularly work in aseptic cleanroom areas. This includes personnel from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, particularly in the areas of production, filling, quality assurance, and technology, as well as pharmacy staff. Participants will learn the behavioral rules for working in cleanrooms according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines, develop an awareness of microbiological and particulate contamination, and practice the correct movement speed, which is precisely measured in the Innerspace simulator. The training also covers a comprehensive understanding of the Contamination Control Strategy (CCS). Additionally, the course includes training on aseptic gowning procedures.
The first training session with the Innerspace VR cleanroom simulator will take place on November 27th and 28th, 2024. Seven training sessions are currently planned.
