Particle Visualisation Lamps (PVL)
For visualising contaminations in cleanrooms
Visualising particles: UV + white light
Particles on surfaces are usually difficult to see. Fluorescent particles become visible to the naked eye with our particle visualisation lamps (PVL). The PVL enables easy monitoring of visible contamination in cleanrooms and optimisation of cleaning processes without the use of measuring instruments.
The UV light emitted by the PVL-2 and PVL-3M visualisation lamps makes fluorescent particles visible on a wide variety of surfaces: for example, on ceilings, walls and floors, as well as on wipes and cleanroom garments – the darker the environment, the easier it is to detect smaller particles.
When the surface is illuminated from a low angle (glancing light), the white light also makes non-fluorescent particles – such as those made of metal, glass and rubber – visible. Depending on the application, damage such as scratches or hairline cracks on surfaces can also be seen. With the help of the attachable light guide, even hard-to-see areas can be well illuminated by means of targeted light angles.
The advanced PVL-3M controls the function of either white or UV light with a simple twist of the lamp. The PVL-2 is still available as white light or UV light.
Trade show raffle – PVL quiz
This year, we are raffling of a PVL lamp with a complete set of accessories in a transport case on each day of the LOUNGES 2026 trade fair.
