With the MAS-100 Sirius®, MBV AG introduces the successor to the world’s best-selling active microbial air sampler, the MAS-100 NT®. This agar-based sampler sets new standards for monitoring microbial air contamination in controlled and non-controlled environments, including pharmaceutical cleanrooms, while minimizing the risk of secondary contamination and maximizing process safety, efficiency, and data integrity.

A world first is the self-aligning magnetic perforated lid with an ergonomic handle, enabling easy, aseptic side handling. The smooth stainless-steel design is easy to clean, and the internal flow path can be actively decontaminated using VHP. An intuitive user interface, optional WiFi remote control, automated self-checks, and flexible compatibility with 55 mm and 90 mm agar plates as well as Growth Direct® cassettes ensure maximum usability.

With a 200 SLPM flow rate, integrated leak testing, dual-sensor technology, and a tamper-evident audit trail, the MAS-100 Sirius® delivers outstanding efficiency, precision, and uncompromising data integrity. The system is designed in accordance with ISPE GAMP5 and fully compliant with PDA TR #13, EU GMP Annex 1, and ISO 14698 / EN 17141.
