HVAC and cleanroom design: ZETA expands its service portfolio
ZETA GmbH

ZETA GmbH has made it its top priority to comprehensively meet the needs of its customers in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry as a one-stop store. The engineering specialist is expanding its service portfolio with new services and fifteen experts in HVAC and cleanroom design.

When planning and developing production facilities for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, not only do the high quality and safety standards of the facility itself play a decisive role, but the requirements for the technical building equipment have also steadily increased in recent years. A key factor in this context is heating and ventilation technology, or HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) for short, which is subject to strict regulations, especially in clean rooms.

Cleanrooms in pharmaceutical and biotechnological production processes are designed to minimize the number of airborne particles that are introduced into a room or are created there. At the same time, the number of these particles and also the number of germs are closely monitored, as any deviations can have a negative impact on production. In order to comply with these strict standards, precise and powerful HVAC technology is required to create optimum conditions for a cleanroom that is largely free of particles and germs.

ZETA as a one-stop store partner

This is precisely why engineering specialist ZETA has expanded its service portfolio to include HVAC and cleanroom design with a new team of 15 highly qualified specialists. "The requirements for heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology in production in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry have risen sharply in recent years. It is therefore of central importance that the process systems and technical building equipment are planned and implemented hand in hand," explains Alfred Marchler, Managing Director of ZETA GmbH responsible for production and technology.

With the new specialists, ZETA is consolidating its expertise as a one-stop store for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. "ZETA now not only handles the complete planning and execution of the process plant, from concept to detailed engineering, but also the planning of the cleanrooms, including heating, cooling and ventilation systems, is carried out by our team of experts. This ensures perfect coordination between the process system and the technical building equipment, enabling ZETA to offer tailor-made cleanrooms," emphasizes Marchler.
