The Ingelfingen-based technology company GEMÜ is once again included in the "World Market Leader Champion 2024" in the World Market Leader Index of the University of St. Gallen and the Academy of German World Market Leaders.  

WirtschaftsWoche awards the owner-managed valve specialist GEMÜ the WirtschaftsWoche quality seal "World Market Leader - Champion 2024" for the eighth time in a row. With this award, WirtschaftsWoche recognizes the renewed inclusion of GEMÜ in the world market leader index in the segment "Valves and automation components: Valve, process and
control technology for sterile processes". 

The World Market Leader Index is compiled according to objective criteria and transparent selection processes under the scientific direction of Prof. Dr. Christoph Müller from the University of St. Gallen, in cooperation with the Academy of German World Market Leaders (ADWM). The business magazine WirtschaftsWoche selects the 500 global market leaders in their respective sectors in a special edition every year. 

The scientists at
designate companies as "World Market Leader Champions" if they are in first or second place in the relevant market segment
, are represented on at least three continents with their own production and/or
sales companies, generate annual sales of at least 50
million euros and can demonstrate an export share or
foreign share of at least 50% of their sales. Another important criterion for receiving the "World Market Leader Champion" award is (owner) management with headquarters in the DACH region.
