PFLITSCH is launching the blueglobe CLEAN Plus made of polyamide, the first hygienic cable gland made of plastic to be successfully certified to EHEDG. It thus meets the strict requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industries as well as chemical and clean room technology with regard to hygienic suitability and cleaning. This is because adhesion of dirt particles, which can promote the formation of bacterial nests, must be excluded. The cleaning agents and liquids used must run off cleanly.

blueglobe CLEAN Plus in plastic for cables up to 23 mm diameter

The blueglobe CLEAN Plus made of PA plastic (polyamide) is available at the start of production in sizes M16 to M32 for cable diameters from 7 mm to 23 mm. It convinces with smooth surfaces and rounded transitions to the spanner flats. It achieves the high protection classes IP 66, IP 68 (up to 15 bar) and IP 69 and is approved for the temperature range from -20 °C to +110 °C. The sealing inserts and sealing rings are made of high-quality, food-safe plastics according to FDA approval. The cable gland has passed extensive Ecolab tests with common cleaning agents.

This plastic cable gland has the same convincing hygienic properties and sizes as its stainless steel counterpart, but is significantly cheaper due to the material used.
