With the blueglobe CLEAN Plus made of polyamide, PFLITSCH is launching the first hygienic cable gland made of plastic that has been successfully certified in accordance with EHEDG. It therefore meets the strict requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industries as well as chemical and cleanroom technology in terms of hygiene and cleaning. This is because the build-up of dirt particles, which can encourage the formation of bacterial nests, must be ruled out. The cleaning agents and liquids used must run off cleanly.

blueglobe CLEAN Plus in plastic for cables up to 23 mm diameter

The blueglobe CLEAN Plus made of PA plastic (polyamide) is available at the start of series production in sizes M16 to M32 for cable diameters from 7 mm to 23 mm. It impresses with smooth surfaces and rounded transitions to the wrench flats. It achieves the high protection classes IP 66, IP 68 (up to 15 bar) and IP 69 and is approved for the temperature range from -20 °C to +110 °C. The sealing inserts and sealing rings are made of high-quality, food-safe plastics with FDA approval. The cable gland has passed extensive Ecolab tests with common cleaning agents.

This plastic cable gland impresses with the same good values and sizes as its stainless steel counterpart in terms of hygiene properties, but is significantly cheaper due to the material.
