Building on the flagship technology of the Endosafe® LAL cartridge, Charles River has taken this innovation one step further and combined it with its recombinant cascade reagent (rCR) to launch the Endosafe® Trillium™ rCR cartridge. This offering, which builds on Charles River's existing Trillium rCR vial product, expands the robust bacterial endotoxin testing (BET) portfolio with a new animal-free testing solution that increases testing efficiency and accelerates production cycles while supporting 3R initiatives.

The rCR cartridges have been developed to provide fast, quantitative results. They are pre-loaded with all the reagents required to perform an endotoxin test. This eliminates the need to prepare multiple reagents and reduces the possibility of application errors. In addition, the product is fully aligned and integrated with Charles River's existing suite of Endosafe cartridge instruments and software, providing a seamless transition for current LAL cartridge users.
