Your tasks
As an automation technician, you will be responsible for the comprehensive, needs-based and timely processing of automation projects. You will follow company-specific and quality assurance guidelines to ensure optimal technical conditions.
Your tasks include:
- Constructive design, development and further development of automated systems and machines in the food and pharmaceutical industries from the perspective of programming the Siemens PLC technology stack
- Focus on programming, controlling and visualizing cleanroom process systems Intensive focus on the tasks in software development, release management and maintenance of the software tools and frameworks used, responsibility for software quality & security
- Taking over EMSR automation projects from the project phase to routine operation
- Preparation and participation in the commissioning of systems and machines
- Error analysis and correction of malfunctions in the software area
- Troubleshooting/troubleshooting in the context of production and commissioning - supportive/remote
Your profile:
For this demanding task, we are looking for a personality with a strong sense of solution and customer orientation, an analytical mind and a structured way of working. Your profile should ideally include the following aspects:
- Sound knowledge of programming using the Siemens Step7 / TIA portal is crucial
- A completed technical degree at Bachelor level as a software programmer, electrical engineer or mechatronics engineer is required
- Due to the international working environment, very good English skills at at least B2 level are required
- Applicants with international experience in industrial plant construction, particularly with the programming of interlinked systems, will be given priority
- Experience in programming pneumatic controls as well as knowledge of various interfaces and bus systems (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, OPC interface, etc.) are an advantage
- You are characterized by a high degree of personal responsibility and an independent way of working
- The willingness to work flexibly and stick to deadlines are important qualities for this position
