Andy Cowan has been appointed President of Particle Measuring Systems (PMS)
, replacing Mark Fleiner, President of Spectris Scientific and
Malvern Panalytical, who served as Interim President of PMS from July 2023
.  

Andy Cowan's appointment marks a return to familiar territory, having previously held the position of VP of Finance and
Business Development at Particle Measuring Systems from January 2016 to October 2018,
. Prior to this new
role, he was President of Servomex, a sister company to PMS.
His career also includes key roles at Spectris PLC, the
parent company of PMS and Servomex. Here he was
interim business unit director and later CFO of the ISD division, bringing
his experience between PMS and Servomex. 

Among the many improvements achieved under Andy's leadership at Servomex
were significantly improved delivery reliability, record sales,
meeting profit expectations and winning gold awards in
internal and external areas such as SBS/Continuous Improvement,
Health & Wellbeing and Sustainability.
