Process Sensing Technologies ("PST"), a leading provider of measurement and monitoring solutions for process-critical applications, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of SensoScientific Inc, a specialist in IoT-based environmental monitoring solutions for customers in the healthcare and life sciences industries.

SensoScientific was founded in 2005 and has since been a leader in the development of wireless temperature monitoring systems for highly regulated organizations that must adhere to strict environmental control standards. By supplying this very demanding customer group, where the cost of failure can be catastrophic, SensoScientific has earned an excellent reputation in the market.

The company offers innovative monitoring instruments, cloud-based wireless technology, accredited calibration services and 24/7 technical support. This complementary product and service offering will strengthen PST and further expand our existing monitoring capabilities.

The company is based in Simi Valley, California, and will be an important part of PST's Real-Time Monitoring Solutions ("RMS") business unit, which builds on our continued investment in this segment.

SensoScientific was founded by Mike Zarei, who will continue to serve as CEO along with the current management team.

Adam Markin, CEO of PST, commented: "SensoScientific and PST are a great fit and we see great potential to continue the company's impressive growth alongside our existing Rotronic RMS offering . SensoScientific's team is highly regarded in the industry and their expertise will help strengthen our monitoring capabilities and relationships with our customers across a range of continuous remote monitoring applications and markets."
