Increasingly, plastic articles for the aseptic Fill & Finish of sterile drug products are manufactured in ISO Class 7 cleanrooms to ensure maximum cleanliness. A cleanroom cabin equipped and qualified for this purpose was examined using the novel Ultrasonic Sensor Tracking Velocimetry method to understand the impact of installations that potentially disrupt the airflow. Detailed information on the necessity and type of mitigation measures could be obtained quickly and with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
