The presentation will give an overview of the effects of UV-C radiation, the origins of its discovery, the means of producing this radiation and will then focus on its application in cleanrooms. We will explain the different possible uses, such as air, surface or local disinfection. We have developed a detailed methodology for implementing the products, and will explain the steps to follow for successful integration. Finally, we will present a study carried out with UV-C LEDs in the field of space industry.
