Depending on the source of drinking water, significantly higher requirements for microbiological and organic safety are imposed, particularly in cold WFI production, i.e., directly at the patient’s bedside. This presentation examines the various conditioning measures, discussing their individual advantages and disadvantages, as well as the respective risk assessment. Practical examples will be used to illustrate how these measures can be effectively implemented in daily operation.
