When discharging material from GMP class “B” to “E”, it was previously necessary to carry out 3 lock processes - one for each GMP class. This costs a lot of time and personnel. With the BECKER QuickOut ® airlock, this is now possible in just one step: thanks to an internal two-chamber principle with integrated chute, there is no longer any risk of particles entering the pure “B” area. The presentation explains the development and implementation of the principle and shows how, in combination with the Quick-In principle, a highly efficient and cost-saving material flow can be realized.
