The presentation briefly introduces the different ultrapure media systems and the process media required for their operation. Typical errors and weaknesses regarding energy efficiency are analyzed, and potential measures to improve efficiency are thoroughly examined and discussed. Through practical examples, specific energy-saving potentials and their implementation are clearly illustrated to enable a sustainable, lasting optimization of the systems.
