VHP distribution can be challenging, leading to long or ineffective decontamination cycles. Recent advancements in magnetically levitated fan technology enable active distribution of VHP inside a Pharma Grade A environment. Experimental studies inside a glass isolator are presented, in which the flow dynamics with vs. without active distribution of VHP are compared. Additionally, a Biological Indicator (BI) case study is presented, in which it is shown how active distribution of VHP can be used for faster decontamination of restricted isolator areas.
