This educational session demonstrates how results from Online Bioburden Analysis (OWBA) can be effectively utilized as in-process controls. Using real data from GMP-qualified systems, practical examples for microbial detection and decision-making will be presented. The focus lies on integrating alternative rapid methods like flow cytometry and transitioning to new QC strategies, all aligned with Annex 1 requirements. Based on the learnings for i-process control, strategies for quality control can be developed.
