Isolator loading as a factor in the H2O2 decontamination

The packaging materials used and the product itself have a decisive influence on the isolator load. Their physical and chemical properties have a direct impact on the effectiveness of the decontamination process with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). When developing and implementing a robust decontamination cycle, it is therefore important to know the properties of these materials and to consider possible interactions with process parameters such as temperature, humidity and cycle duration. The presentation will introduce approaches for evaluating the behavior of materials and products in relation to H2O2 in order to ensure reliable and reproducible decontamination.
