Conductivity measurement is a well-established and widely used operational measurement technique for monitoring the quality of water for pharmaceutical purposes. This presentation covers not only the fundamentals of conductivity measurement but also extensively addresses the requirements set forth by the pharmacopeias. The construction of the measurement technology as well as the latest developments in this field are part of the presentation. Additionally, important tips for handling conductivity sensors — from installation through maintenance and calibration — are provided.
