The presentation deals with the basics of filtration in clean room technology. It addresses the structure of modern clean rooms and presents possible designs of clean rooms with different filter systems. The right choice and dimensioning of the systems is the success criterion for a clean and safe environment as well as high production reliability. Topics such as sustainability, energy consumption and compliance with the required cleanroom classes essentially influence the successful application and future security of cleanrooms.

A flow-optimized, sustainable and safe design of the filter systems is crucial for compliance with the required purity (ISO) classes as well as for energy consumption and thus the decarbonization of the industry. Through modern engineering - such as the use of simulation - you can take decisive steps towards greater sustainability. This is explained using practical examples.
