Cleanroom cleaning is much more than a routine process – it is the key to ensuring cleanroom hygiene and thus GMP compliance in highly sensitive production environments. In regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical technology, the quality of cleaning determines the safety of products and ultimately the protection of patients. Nevertheless, the complexity of this process is often underestimated. Numerous factors influence cleanroom cleaning and determine whether it is effective, efficient and audit-proof. This presentation shows why cleaning and disinfection is much more than a routine process and which factors significantly influence its effectiveness. Using practical examples, typical problems from everyday work are highlighted and concrete solutions are presented. Participants will learn how to minimise risks and ensure the quality of cleaning in the long term.
