The basics of cleanroom cleaning

Learn more about the key principles of textile cleaning technology in cleanrooms. We define essential textile terms and examine the most important factors influencing cleaning performance, such as wetting, pressure, movement control and climatic conditions. Another focus is the differentiated consideration of reusable and disposable textiles. Technical and procedural differences are presented objectively using current analysis methods and findings from systematic process investigations. We also explain the technical significance of the exposure time, its relationship to wetting and the correct classification under cleanroom conditions. For objective presentation, we use our intelligent mop holder (iWMH) as a neutral analysis tool, whose measurement techniques record precise process parameters and enable reproducible evaluations.
