The future lies in isolating entire production lines, production processes, and critical work processes from environmental influences and integrating them into fully automated safety facilities. Isolators and isolator technology can be divided into two categories: standard facilities and individual user-specific facilities. By adopting technologies from the automotive and aerospace industries, isolators are equipped with new measurement and monitoring technology. AI, Quality by Design, and simulations open up ways to redesign standards. Working under safe, clean conditions necessitates reducing the CO2 footprint, designing energy-optimized facilities, and minimizing maintenance costs.
