Almost every pharmaceutical company is at some point faced with the issue of technology transfer. Regardless of whether this involves products, processes or knowledge, the transfer from a company (sending unit) to the receiving unit must be traceable and controlled at all times. A large number of regulatory principles provide the framework and direction for this. However, the success or failure of the project is decided elsewhere. The presentation provides an overview of the necessary thoughts that are required when planning transfer projects. Risks are identified and suggestions for prevention are determined.
