The lecture will present new developments in the area of ​​low-temperature logistics with robotics in the temperature range from -40°C to -160°C and a new biobank at -80°C from Azenta (BioArc Ultra) with cold air refrigeration technology. The solution uses air / R729 as a refrigerant that is particularly efficient, fail-safe and environmentally friendly. In addition, the current status of the refrigerant regulations and the associated operator obligations are summarized. As well as sample installation and best practice examples for low-temperature logistics.
