Furnishing personnel airlocks and clean rooms offers a variety of options while at the same time numerous guidelines and specifications must be observed. The lecture asks which special requirements are placed on the equipment of clean rooms and personnel airlocks by both authorities and users and how these can be met. It shows which materials are usually used and which advantages and deficits individual materials such as stainless steel, HPL or mineral materials have. In addition, the importance of hygienic constructions and the associated cleanability of facilities is discussed.
Project examples and detailed solutions of various designs show the implementation of the theoretical requirements and specifications in practice.
