The Hercules hygienic scraped surface heat exchanger is designed for the use of sensitive and sticky media and it is particularly suitable for products having high viscosity, with particulates in suspension and the tendency to adhere to the exchange surfaces. In order to turn the process from „batch“ into „continuous“ the internal scrapers are attached to a continuously rotating shaft, which prevents the medium to be heated / cooled from sticking and the permanent, gentle mixing increases the efficiency of the heat transfer.

Very easy to clean using CIP / SIP. Simple disassembly enables quick inspection and maintenance of the product. Can be set up in a horizontal or vertical orientation. Components in contact with the medium are made of stainless steel, scrapers are available in different materials. Equipped with single or double shaft seal.
