IIoT maturity of mobile equipment in clean rooms – obstacles, risks and successful implementation concepts

Brief description:
Mobile process vessels are one of the biggest blind spots in digitalisation in the GMP environment. Although they are an integral part of modern production chains, they often remain without automation, without SCADA connection and without digital documentation. Using an implemented IIoT extension as an example, the presentation shows how mobile systems can be turned into validatable, intelligent units – including wireless data transmission, edge control, OPC UA communication and AES-256 security architecture.
The focus is particularly on typical risks of GMP integration: validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), data security, sensor redundancies, audit trail requirements, energy and load management, and the reduction of human error. Participants will gain practical insights into the levels of maturity that can be achieved, the stumbling blocks that can arise, and how IIoT-enabled mobile equipment can deliver measurable productivity and compliance benefits.
