In the manufacturing sector of the pharmaceutical industry, up to 80% of total energy consumption can be attributed to the operation of cleanrooms - especially the air routing and conditioning of cleanroom air. On this scale, optimization can quickly have a major economic as well as ecological effect. We would like to offer some ideas on where this optimization can be useful, how it can be implemented and what effects it can have on performance parameters.
