The access of the personnel influences work processes and the level of cleanliness. Only with appropriate planning and equipment is dressing cleanroom-friendly and efficient at the same time. In addition to the personal routes, the supply of clothing items and their disposal must be considered. Solutions are presented on the basis of practical examples of personnel airlocks designed and implemented for customers in the pharmaceutical industry, which optimize throughput and take into account future requirements and guidelines. In particular, the new requirements of Annex 1 are also addressed and solutions for correct implementation are shown.
